Harmony Haller Director Terri Allen loves life! Brooklyn born, Long Island bred, 
she moved to the Washington, DC area in 1996 after an early retirement from a Fortune 500 company in New York City. She started the Harmony Hallers having no former experience working with senior citizens, but her passion for p
eople and natural ability to organize and administer, gave her the courage to dive into unchartered waters. Her tenacity to keep going even when the going gets tough helps her to bring a quality program to hundreds of active adult senior citizens with a revolutionary program. After the success of the local program, Terri was invited by top recreation officials to present her ground-breaking senior citizen program ideas and concepts at the 2009 NRPA (Recreation and Parks National Association) National Convention for thousands of recreation professionals throughout the United States. She developed the CUSP (Communities United Senior Program) program. A generic template model, based on 
the Harmony Hallers program, was born. Since then, several municipalities have adapted the program outline into their own recreation departments. Her ideology is a simple one. “Reinvent aging on behalf of the Boomer generation!” Terri currently lives in Fort Washington, MD with her husband Dale. The Christian couple own their own business. They also love spending time traveling and entertaining with family and friends.
